We came to Chalet Peak for a long weekend, our second visit, and left with another unforgettable memory. The chalet gave us a real sense of privacy, and we felt comfortable the whole time. The staff were ready to make our wishes come true, while the spa had everything we could ask for. Breakfast and dinner were both exquisite, thanks to the chef.

Everything sits right below the Matterhorn, from the huge range of ski terrain to the elegant, quaint town and its amazing food. There's something here for everyone in the family, and it feels like a truly special place. I'm keen to come back and explore more of Zermatt and the Chalet.

A week here costs 55,000 CHF at the cheapest, about an average person's yearly salary, though you get the whole chalet to yourself, personal housekeeping, a Michelin star chef, free massage, and other special amenities. They filmed Running Man here. The chalet is very luxurious, set a little way up the mountain but still near the main street from Zermatt train station, roughly a 10-15 minute walk. You should be able to see Matterhorn from the hotel. People often gather by the nearby Matterhorn Museum at night to watch the Matterhorn lights come on.
