We got what we needed from this place, and the price was right, so I’d consider staying again. It’s plain, though, and getting back from the center means tackling a lot of uphill walking and stairs. The one bedroom is really cramped, with a Murphy bed. The main bathroom has decent space, but the half bath and separate shower room are tight. They provided a fondue pot but no lighter or fuel, so we had to make another trip to a shop.
The balcony view is GREAT, and the rooms are spacious, clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. It’s about a five-minute walk from the Sunnegga rail. There are 75 stairs, though, and they scared me. I slipped and fell on them once! Still, the apartment was well worth the climb, assuming you make it up.
You have to climb a few stairs to get to the apartment, but the view from up there makes the effort worth it.
We booked through Interhome and stayed three nights. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with a stunning Matterhorn view from both the living room and terrace. It’s only a few minutes from the town center, and the stairs up to the building are manageable. After hiking the Chamonix-Zermatt trail, we were pretty used to stairs anyway, ha ha.
Loved this apartment, it has everything and the view is incredible. Already looking forward to coming back.
