The rooms are spacious and comfortable, all done in wood and traditional style that shows how much our host cares. This place feels small and different, the sort of stay you may not find elsewhere. We were told dinner was at 7, and when the five of us went into the 'Sääli', we found we were the only guests. Our hostess had made a four-course meal with regional ingredients, including traditional 'Capuns', and shared the story behind each one with real enthusiasm. I'm Swiss, though no expert on Capuns, and this was a lovely way to try it. St.Martin church is a three-minute walk away.

We had a lovely time here. The food was delicious, there were vegan options and a wonderful wine selection, and the folks were friendly. The location is fantastic. Highly recommended.

We stopped in for a little snack and a Calandra beer from a brewery in Zug. The service was really friendly, and the setting has a lot of charm. The local nut bread was delicious and definitely worth trying.
