For 10 swoss francs, breakfast was a decent buffet. The rooms were very clean and the service was good quality. There are small spots downstairs to sit with a drink, as well as a little patio by the entrance. The hotel is in the old town among historic buildings and restaurants, and it’s only a 5 minute walk from the train station. I’d definitely stay again.

The only drawback for me was the heat at night, since cooling is just a fan. Otherwise, it’s a clean, delightful hotel with a lovely room, a great breakfast and staff who are both friendly and helpful. The location is exceptionally convenient.

We were traveling with our adult kids, and having a bathroom in every room was a real plus. The train station, restaurants, shops and bars are all within walking distance in quaint old town Zofingen. We took a short hike up to the Heitere and saw the Roman mosaics just around the corner. Bern was 30 minutes away by train, Lucerne 45 minutes, and Zurich and Basel are also nearby. We’ll come back next time we’re in Switzerland.

Zofingen is a beautiful city to visit. I always choose this hotel when traveling for its location and charm, and getting there by train is easy, just a 3 minute walk away.

I was there for four business nights. The staff were helpful, and the hotel was in just the right spot for my needs. My room was a little small, but otherwise I liked the hotel.
