The reception team made every interaction feel personal, with a warm and professional manner. I also liked the balance of comfort and sophistication, from the high-end interior materials to the exceptionally soft, luxurious bathroom robes. For work, the modern, well-equipped coworking space on the first floor is ideal, and the rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, a rare and welcome feature in the area. Probably the best hotel in Zug. Highly recommended for work or relaxation.

The people at Hotel Ochsen Zug made my stay so lovely. Simone and Sonya took the time to look after my needs, and I felt very much at home. I can't wait to return sometime soon. My room was cozy and comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a lovely blend of traditional and modern design and practical features. I especially loved the Eskimo blankie and the super light, comfy bathrobe. Swiss hospitality and comfort at its best!

The staff were delightful from the start. They welcomed us, helped with our itinerary, and suggested dinner spots and activities. Our beautiful room looked out over the city streets and architecture, and the city was a great reprieve after Italy. We could walk to the train station in 15 minutes, take a bus right outside the entrance, or head to the lake and enjoy the Food Festival that was going on. Breakfast was included and lovely, with hot food like eggs, bacon, and sausage, plus treats, Danishes, cereals, and fruit. A beautiful city, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay in a large room / suite, and the reception and breakfast teams were friendly and helpful. It's a very central, well-run Swiss hotel, with the usual Swiss austerity in places but enough flair and highlights. The si gel bed rooms looked very… space efficient.

The location worked well, and while there’s no parking at the hotel, a garage is nearby. They also sell discounted parking tickets. Breakfast was great, everything was very clean, and Clemens was especially helpful and informative. I can’t say enough good things about the place.
