Gubelhof Suites

The team is super friendly and quick to respond. It’s also in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from the train station, close to the lake and shops. I’ve stayed here on work trips, and it feels more like a stylish apartment than a hotel. Modern, high quality, and perfectly clean, especially the bathroom.

We stayed at Gubelhof Suits for six months, and it really felt like home. Joanna, the manager, made a big difference. She was always accessible, positive, professional, and ready to help. The downstairs cafe is one of the hippest places in town, with friendly service and nice offerings. Our apartment was tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, like a comfortable boutique design hotel. It was kept very clean, and housekeeping was receptive to our individual requests. The location was excellent too, close to the train station, the stores in Metalli Zug, the post office, and the essentials.

I lived at Gubelhof Suites for 3.5 months after moving to CH, and the location and service were the main reasons for my five stars. The apartment was functional and nice, and weekly cleaning made a big difference. Johanna was spectacular, always quick to respond to my questions and requests. The train station, mall, supermarkets, restaurants, and the LAKE are all very close. I strongly recommend it if you’re moving to Zug or nearby cantons, working in the area for a few months, or visiting Central Switzerland.

Getting around was easy, with the apartment next to Mettali and convenient access to the train and nearby shops. Our place was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable bedding and modern amenities. Staff were attentive and quick to respond from check-in onward, and did a lot to make us comfortable. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it for the comfort and location.
