It’s a well connected place with a great view, and a good option if you plan to be out all day. The village is small, with the train station and bike and walking paths easy to reach. Sadly, some things in the flats are starting to have problems, including floors in poor condition.

A great place for dogs, with the river nearby and hiking areas close at hand. Lago di Silvaplana is also near, with its big waterfall, kiting, windsurfing, and cycling. Plenty of other sights are within about 1,5 hours by car. One problem: there’s an info center in Madulain, but no one there speaks English.

The balcony was barely a square meter, and the room felt much too small. The beds were poor quality, and the service wasn’t good. We even had to make some of the beds ourselves when we arrived.
