We arrived in Zurich very early and went straight to leave our luggage, expecting to wait until check in. Nadine kindly rearranged the rooms so we could check in right away, which was a lovely surprise. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Our room was a little small, but clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. The location was fantastic, with bars, good restaurants, rail and bus stations all within walking distance. I'd gladly stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.

The ground floor cafe/bar is always welcoming, and the staff are terrific. Hotel Altstadt is immaculate, nicely located, and reasonably priced. I recommend it without hesitation.

The staff are friendly and help with everything we need while we're staying in this beautiful, welcoming city. It's perfectly placed for walking around Zurich, and the rooms are comfortable and very clean.

I'd stayed here before and liked it enough to switch from the hotel I'd first booked into. The employees were welcoming, and late night check-in was easy. The design is up to date but still cozy, and my room was clean and spacious, with a kettle. There's also a nice lounge cafe on the ground floor. The soundproof window frames work well, so the bar across the street doesn't bother you much. Very convenient location.

The room was quite small, but the staff were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and lunch in the bar was too. The Thai restaurant next door was also delicious. The hotel is just off a main street, so buses and trams are easy to reach without getting the street noise.
