Construction right outside my unit carried on all week, and it was extremely loud very early in the morning. The walls are thin too. At 2 or 3am I could hear neighbors coming in and cavorting, then by 7am there was Swiss dance music along with the construction pistons thumping outside. The folding shower door is ridiculous and awkward to use. The water seems to come in only two temperatures, freezing or burning, and it’s almost impossible to find a comfortable setting. The maids ignored my “do not disturb” sign twice. Once, someone came in and walked into the bathroom while I was showering. Really, couldn’t they hear the shower? Maybe the construction drowned it out. I’ll stay at Sihlcity next time. I won’t come back to these apartments.

Everything we needed was there, and the apartments were clean and spacious. All the important places in Zurich were within walking distance.

Managed by Hotel Ascot, this apartment worked well for my month-long stay. I was quite satisfied with the service and the value. There’s no DSL service, but you can buy a card to access the wireless LAN.
