For somewhere this central, the price was surprisingly low. It’s easy to reach a range of restaurants and entertainment on foot, by bus, or by tram. The bed was super comfy, and the rest of the room was decent quality. There’s a mini-fridge tucked into the desk cupboard. Remember to check your email after booking so you can register for the code to get your key.

Getting around on foot was easy, with about a 15-minute walk to central Zurich. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. But the facilities made the stay miserable: it was November and cold, yet the heating wasn't on, and there was no hot water in the shower.

Our ground-floor room felt unsafe. The bed was right beside an exit door that opened onto the street, and people sat on the steps outside smoking late at night. Smoke drifted in, and it felt as though they were right next to our bed. The bedding wasn't clean either. There was no AC, and the lobby was much cooler than the room. Maybe guests on higher floors would feel differently, but based on our stay, this was a very poor experience.

For the price, the apartment looked perfectly fine, bathroom included. Getting around was convenient too: Langhausstrasse was two minutes away on foot, Central Station about ten minutes, and the center around fifteen. Check-in worked really well. You book a room and can check in as soon as it reaches 2 o'clock.
