I've stayed here for nine nights and have chosen to come back for two more in the coming weeks. This is an unsolicited review from someone who just needed a safe, comfortable place to work, and I'm grateful to the Via Mia staff for making my time in Abidjan so smooth and peaceful. The staff across reception, housekeeping, the kitchen, and the doorman team are professional, welcoming, thoughtful, and patient. There's plenty of English, and Google Translate works fine too. The food is fresh and delicious, with a great range for vegetarians and meat eaters. Breakfast is included, and lunch or dinner can be added for a reasonable price. The grounds are immaculate and easy to enjoy, with bug coils, repellent, and fans around. The pool is spotless, and there's exercise equipment for a short stay; they can also point you to a nearby gym. The neighborhood feels safe to walk in during the day. At night, it's easy to call Yango, and a large store within walking distance stocks most foreign goods, from toiletries to drinks and snacks. Reliable drivers arranged through the hotel made airport transfers easy and fairly priced. Internet was fast enough for a three-hour Zoom meeting, and the hotel set up a good space for me to work. They can also direct you to restaurants and art and culture sites, and have a thoughtful guide to local activities. After that first visit, I had two more stays while passing through Abidjan. The trip from the airport is worth it for somewhere this comfortable, safe, and welcoming. I also stayed in the Junior Suite, which was exceptional, with a lovely spacious balcony and a bathtub. It would suit honeymoons, special occasions, or weary travelers. Meals were fresh and delicious every day, and the hospitality stayed top-notch. I may be the guest who's spent the longest time at Villa Mia in recent months or years, and I can still say: don't hesitate to book if you can!

The pool in the lovely garden was a refreshing spot, and towels were provided. Our room was clean and had a safe, fridge, and air conditioning. We had a beautiful stay at the family-run Villa Mia, in a quiet, safe area. The owners were extremely friendly and helped with everything we needed.

I spent 12 days here and enjoyed my stay. It's a good option for families or business trips to Abidjan, with approachable owners and polite staff who pay attention to your needs. Breakfast is provided daily, and you can eat in your room, by the pool on the terrace, or in the dining room. If you're staying in all day, they can prepare lunch and dinner. La Nouvelle Villa MIA has high-speed fibre internet for remote work, streaming, or video calls, though the connection isn't at European or US standards. For someone on a budget who wants hotel amenities with a family atmosphere, I'd recommend it.

The penthouse suite was comfortable, with a good bed, a strong shower, and air conditioning that worked flawlessly without much noise at night. The rooms were cleaned and tidied meticulously each day. The gate and entrance were staffed around the clock, and the area itself was quiet and safe. A busy road a few hundred feet away made it easy to find taxis. Vitrene and the staff were genuine, gracious, attentive, welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The food was delicious at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I especially recommend the Captain seafood dish for dinner. The fish tastes like swordfish. Breakfast was usually coffee, croissants, eggs, fruit, and yoghurt. This little hotel in Abidjan gave me one of the best experiences of all my travels. It deserves five stars for ambiance, comfort, cleanliness, food, safety, and surroundings. The owners, manager, and team made my first trip to Africa memorable. The manager and owner speak fluent English. I'd stay again, and it's suitable for families, couples, solo travelers, and business people. Bravo!

I've stayed at both Villa Mia and Nouvelle Villa Mia, and choosing between the excellent and the ecellent is tough. They have everything: good food, a warm welcome, and comfort. I especially liked the free phone for local calls and being able to watch movies on the TV.
