Aitutaki Escape Villa

Villa 3 had a beautiful view, plenty of room, and an amazing private pool. We spent three nights there and loved it. We arrived without much planned, but Thomas had arranged a car since he knew none were available, and sorted dinner and transport to the Boat Shed on our first night. The food there wasn't great, but we didn't have another option. Breakfast was fantastic and there was enough left for lunch, and we had a lovely dinner in the villa the second night. Paradise, and we'd absolutely recommend it.

The staff made the stay feel so easy. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and understanding, and special thanks to Lizzy and Thomas for being so warm and generous. Breakfast in the villa was tasty and plentiful. Dinner at the restaurant was nicely presented and good too. I'm vegetarian, and Thomas made me a lovely vegetable pasta. The other guest had tuna, which was very tasty, with large portions. Check which nights the restaurant is open. Villa #3 exceeded what we expected. It was airy, bright, and comfortable, with the living room opening onto a deck and a path to the beachside “helipad,” a round platform with easy chairs and an umbrella overlooking the water and reef. A very relaxing spot. Give this place a chance, you'll remember it.

With only three units, each fully separate, the beach was practically empty the whole time we were there. We stayed in the two-bedroom unit and really enjoyed it. The private dinner was amazing, highly recommend it. There’s a big telescope in the living room, but at night there are thousands of stars to see just by stepping outside. We also took the Black Pearl snorkeling trip, which was amazing and included lunch. The pontoon boat trip was entertaining too, though the snorkeling on Black Pearl was hard to beat.

We had an incredible honeymoon here almost five years ago. The thoughtful design, private pools, and beach that felt nearly private all helped us relax and enjoy our time on the island.
