Snorkelling in the lagoon was pretty good, and we saw lots of turtles. The resort's outlook over the water is stunning, and the gardens are always immaculate. We made good use of the pool in the middle of the grounds, the loungers around it and the nearby BBQ area. There are plenty of eateries close by. Tiares was our favourite, with amazing food, service and live music as the sun went down. We loved our second visit to Muri Beach Resort and will be back again.

We stayed twice, for five nights and then seven, in two separate garden villas, and both suited my husband and me perfectly. The pool was great, and I used it every day on both stays. They also lend out snorkelling gear, reef shoes, paddleboards and kayaks, and the staff were helpful about making calls to book activities. It's not as fancy as some places around Muri Beach, but we saved over $200 a night and had a lovely, peaceful place to stay. That made it an easy choice, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

Jayme at reception was amazing, and Made was friendly and helpful. The airport pickup and drop-off were arranged really well. Our room was lovely and clean, with air conditioning and fans, which we appreciated in the heat. We could get to the water easily for snorkelling, and the pool was just right too. It's a handy spot, a short walk from the night markets, Captain Tamas and the Avis rental.

We kayaked straight out from the beach into the lagoon and snorkelled among colourful tropical fish and sea turtles. The water was warm and crystal clear, close enough to paradise. Our beach-view suite had a kitchenette and spa bath, with plenty of space and a really comfortable bed. The staff were outstanding and always happy to do a little extra to make our stay better. Having the Nautilus restaurant and bar next door also made Muri Beach Resort great value.
