Atupa Suites

The rooms were very nice and clean, with parking available. The staff were friendly and professional.

We stayed a week and thought it was the best place ever. Great location and facilities, and the owner communicated well.

We stayed in one of the suites for a couple of nights at the end of our trip. There are 2 private suites and a less private house available. The listing sounded a bit too perfect, and Google Maps makes the outside look like a random laneway, so I checked. The place does exist and it's legit. It felt like a pretty nice little house. The fridge, smart tv, pool, shower, washer, and dryer were all good quality and worked well. There was some water damage to the floor varnish, patched holes in the walls behind the door handles, and a bathroom drawer that wouldn't stay shut. Under the sink smelled like rotting death. That's it, everything else was great. The room would be 5* if not for that sink stink. Communication was slow, and we were left unsure whether we had a transfer, so we ended up sorting it ourselves. There's a book of handy information in the loungeroom, but we didn't find it until day 2. It's a good place to stay. If we come back, we may try to book all 3 rooms as a family instead of one of the resorts. I didn't take photos apart from the pool, and it's close to the cross island walk if that's your thing.

There's nothing to fault here.
