The relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting at Club Raro Resort were real positives, but for the price we paid, we left disappointed. The property has lots of potential, though it needs improvement and better upkeep. We were in an apartment with no windows and a large skylight over the bed that couldn't be covered, so sleeping was difficult. Several things leaked: the toilet and ceiling kept dripping, and the air conditioning leaked too, though that was fixed promptly. We asked to move rooms, but the resort was full. Service was uneven. Some employees were genuinely helpful and friendly, while others seemed rude or uninterested. Bar service often fell short, and the food was okay but overpriced for its quality. On most days there were no pool towels available. The setting and easygoing vibe were nice, but the property's condition and value for money were a letdown.

We had a really nice stay. The room was comfortable, and the service was great. They even got us a TV when we asked. It only has one channel, so bring your own Fire Stick or Chromecast if you'd like more options. Thanks to ‘Mama’ for being such a good host! I'd recommend this place if you're after a quiet stay with a great pool and swim-up bar 😊

We found this one of the more disappointing dining experiences on the island. The food was very average and expensive for what you get, and the menu felt like a basic takeaway rather than a resort restaurant. Nothing stood out. The pina colada was watery and short on flavour, and the beer was warm. The photos make the setting look better than it is. Lunch seating was outside beneath small huts, which wasn't pleasant in bad weather. There isn't really a beach area either, mostly rocks instead of the tropical beachfront you'd expect in Rarotonga. Staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested, which made the resort prices harder to accept.

The shuttle from our resort was great, and the couple driving it were really friendly and kind. At dinner, though, the service was awful. My group of girlfriends wanted to sit outside and were told it was fully booked, but when we walked out, we saw several tables free. The food was delicious and quite filling, but there was plastic in the iced chocolate and a bone in the meat lovers pizza.

We stayed nine nights and had a fantastic time. The staff were all amazing, friendly, helpful, and greeted us so warmly. Dinner was great, and the live entertainment, karaoke, happy hours, and meeting new people made for such a good vibe. Loved the air con 😂😂
