The private pool was such a treat in Rarotonga’s heat, and our villa worked out wonderfully for my husband and me. Staff kept us feeling welcome with friendly chats and warm smiles. Getting snorkel gear and ordering food or drinks from the restaurant was easy, too. Rodny from room service deserves a special mention. She’s a very sweet soul, and all her hard work showed. We’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms were pleasant, but they weren’t cleaned properly each day, and service was only adequate. We spent 10 days at the Crown and had several issues. On arrival, we learned the bed for the third person in our beachfront villa had been forgotten, so we had to wait for it to be returned. We couldn’t shower on the first day because the hot water failed. Maintenance fixed it, but the water pressure kept coming and going. The pool had visible cracks and faded paint and wasn’t always clean. The facilities need serious investment, and the lack of care was disappointing for the price.

Breakfast was spot on, and everyone was so friendly. Maciu, Inoke and the rest of the staff made our little holiday lovely. The rooms are big, with AC and fans, and everything was clean. My partner booked this for our first visit, and we also tried the spa. The ladies there really worked on our sore muscles. Highly recommend.

We ended up having dinner here twice. The Sunday roast was excellent, and we also had pizza another evening. The food was good, but the friendly service really stood out, and they made us feel very welcome. Before that, we’d dropped in a few times from nearby for quiet, relaxing afternoon happy-hour drinks. The staff were cheerful and super friendly.
