A supermarket across the road made self-catering easy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of restaurants nearby too. Makayla Palms is in a fantastic spot, just a short walk from a picture-perfect beach with white sand, palm trees, and great snorkeling. We had it to ourselves most of the time. We loved our five days here and are already talking about when we can return.

A quiet spot with good snorkeling right off the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen and most of what we needed. There’s a small supermarket across the road for essentials, and cafes and restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away. Check-in and check-out were self-service, but that was no problem. The only downside was the crazy rooster next door keeping us awake. We enjoyed our stay.

The beach was amazing and great for snorkeling, and the units had everything we needed. The supermarket across the road was well stocked, and Imai was a fantastic host whose recommendations were all great. We had an awesome eight-night stay at Makayla Palms, and next time we’ll stay longer.

The management were incredibly helpful, and the place was very clean. The kitchen was especially well laid out and had all the equipment we needed, plus our own BBQ. Mikaela Palms is lovely, close to the beach and other places to eat.

The villa was beautifully presented and well equipped, with a great little BBQ. The location was perfect, and the beach was beautiful. A very new, well-stocked supermarket and petrol station is right across the road. We had a great stay and made great memories. Definitely a place to return to! Mitch & Michelle NZ 💞
