John and Hinano shared plenty of local tips, which helped us make the most of the Cooks. The place had everything we needed and was beautifully set up for an easy holiday. Best of all, we watched whales breaching just 150m offshore, right from the beach that doubles as the backyard. We stayed a week at Helliconia Hideaway and are already planning to come back.

The gardens are lush and tropical, and the water around us was crystal blue. We had all the facilities we needed, plus some lovely luxury touches. Staying here in Rarotonga felt like letting all our cares drift away. Simply paradise🏝
