Step off the back porch and you’re in the water, with a spectacular view and a great spot for snorkelling. The porch has a table, chairs, a BBQ, and loungers, and there were masks and snorkels for us to use. Having a little grocery store across the road was a bonus. Our five bedroom home suited us perfectly. It was clean, tidy, well presented, and well equipped when we arrived.

We’ve decided Arapati Holiday homes will be our choice whenever we visit Rarotonga. This was our second stay at Arapati Holiday homes, in Henry Villa, and it worked really well for our family. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms gave us lots of space and it was great value. There’s a shop right across the road, and being on the main road made local bus pickups easy. Everything is close by, with a great spot for kayaking, snorkelling, and having a BBQ on the patio while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Communication during booking was great, and my questions were answered.

The hosts were lovely, and whenever we needed something, we just had to ask. The place had everything we needed to stay in and cook, with a nice, homely feel. We loved having the lagoon as our backyard. I’d recommend it 😊

The only downside is that it’s a little close to the main road, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. Otherwise, it’s a perfect spot, with really good snorkelling right at your doorstep, plus a BBQ, kayak, and snorkels included.
