Ocean Escape Resort&Spa

We'd gladly come back. The accommodation was peaceful, modern and very clean, with a fantastic room and more than we needed. Barry and his team were great hosts and very helpful. We also loved the food at BJ Tapas bar upstairs. The location is handy, across from Villi's Burger Joint and Kaps gas station and supermarket.

We arrived quickly and easily with the shuttle, and Elaine greeted us so warmly. The modern room was lovely, with complimentary bubbles and a basket of breakfast goodies since we booked direct. It's quiet by the ocean, and the owner of ocean escape was welcoming too. The onsite tapas bar had tasty food and drinks. A gas station and store with everything you'd need are around 250-300m away, next to Vilis burger joint, which serves great food. We'll definitely be back.

From outside, Ocean escape doesn't look especially flashy, but inside it's lovely. The rooms are thoughtfully set up with everything you might need, and there are lots of places to relax. We enjoyed the beach views, though you can't swim there, and the salt pool. Having tapas onsite was handy. Elaine and Barry were very welcoming.

With just 12 villas, the adults-only resort stays quiet and uncrowded. You mostly hear the distant surf and the pool fountain bubbling, which makes it a restful place to unwind. There's a small tapas bar and restaurant open from 4pm. The beach is nice to sit on, but swimming or wading out front isn't possible because of the coral, rocks and lots of urchins. Relaxing by the pool or on the sand is still well worth it.
