Vaima Beachfront Apartments

We really enjoyed our time at Vaima Apartments and hope to come back soon. The view is lovely, and the setting makes it feel like you have a beach of your own. The supermarket is only a couple of doors away and is arguably the island's best stocked. Having cooking facilities, laundry, and bedroom air conditioning was so handy. The location is hard to beat, and communication with the owners was first class.

The beachfront setting is spectacular, and we swam right out front every day. My friend Sally and I have now stayed at Vaima Beachfront Apartments twice, and we love it there. The apartments are well appointed, and Wigmores, the best store in the world, is just across the road. We also loved the big ginger cat, who seems to adopt the guests!

That little bit of milk waiting in the fridge meant I could have a cup of tea after the long trip with the kids, which I really appreciated. We had an amazing Cook Islands holiday at Vaima Beachfront Apartments. The apartment was clean, tidy, and well appointed, and questions were answered so quickly. For things to do, we enjoyed hiking to the Needle and swimming and kayaking from the apartment. Go Local Tours arranged a private turtle tour. The channel currents are very strong, so a lifeguard came along with the guide to support our family. There's also an attached cafe with delicious French toast and fried banana, very close to the apartment and with heaps of parking. The nearby supermarket has fab ice cream at a great price.

We slept comfortably, and the showers had great water pressure. The unit was clean, and the location gave us both privacy and easy access to a 24/7 supermarket and charming restaurants, all just a short walk away. The roosters do get going early, as they seem to across the island, so light sleepers might want earplugs. We had a fantastic, very comfortable stay at Vaima Beachfront Apartments and look forward to coming back.
