Rarotonga Beach Bungalows

The bungalow came with two complimentary kayaks stored underneath, and the beach nearby was quiet, with clear blue water and few people around. Inside, it was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a large bedroom, bathroom with an outdoor shower, kitchen, living area, and front patio. It was part of a great Costco travel package. The complimentary breakfast was just toast and boxed cereal, so that was mediocre, and there aren’t many restaurants close by. Still, I’d stay here again.

The ocean view was lovely and felt tucked away. We often had the beach to ourselves. Paara was a really nice, accommodating host, and we had a fabulous stay.

The beach was the highlight, with white sand, great snorkelling, lovely scenery, and beautiful sunsets. It’s a small, private-feeling place with clean, lovely accommodation and gracious hosts. This is the best location we’ve stayed at, and I’d highly recommend these bungalows.

We first stayed here on our honeymoon, and Tom and Lucky were wonderful hosts. There are five bungalows, all with air conditioning, which is rare on the island. Tom has breakfast with guests every morning, and his Kona coffee imported from Hawaii is fantastic. On our last trip we stopped by RBB and talked with Lucky for over an hour. She remembered us. I can’t wait to stay again, though next time we’ll come without the kids since the atmosphere is geared toward adults.
