Cabañas Donde La Lela

The cabin is nice and clearly new, but the service is poorly thought out. We went in winter and there was no heating at all, not even a heater or space heater. Showering was torture: the water came out almost freezing, then when it was nearly lukewarm it could shut off at any moment. I don’t know whether the water heater was faulty or set too low. There’s also nowhere to put toilet paper in the bathroom. The kitchen doesn’t work well for a cabin meant for eight people, since the pots and pans are for four. The “balcony” has no direct access from the cabin, so you have to go outside to reach it. The open stairs are dangerous for children because the steps are too far apart. The cabin is nice, but the service is bad.

We had a really bad experience. There was no hot water in the kitchen, and the cabins are attached, so there’s very little privacy. They also charged us $1,000 for one dish. The cabin wasn’t worth the price, especially with the dirty refrigerator, hair in the bathroom, stained comforters and blankets, and a bad smell. I definitely do NOT recommend it.

The owner is a wonderful person, and the place is peaceful, safe, and excellent. The cabins are amazing, beautiful, and comfortable, with health protocols in place. Highly recommended!

Patricia was an excellent host, and you could see how much effort she puts into the place. Her cabins are spacious and really nice. There’s a small pool for children, though the coast is a bit far if you don’t have a car.
