After checking out, we stayed in the common area to sort out a few things on the phone. At 11:20 the owner told us to leave, saying checkout applied to the whole facility. I'd never experienced that before, and found it really rude and unpleasant. Apart from that, everything was okay.

The owners are lovely and help make your stay in Ancud enjoyable. They also organize tours to the Chapu river and the Penguins, and I can recommend both. The small hostel is centrally located, with large, comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy common area to hang out in.

Clean, modern, and with a great atmosphere, this is probably one of the best hostels in Ancud, maybe even Chiloe. The owner was a great guy and helped us a lot with recommendations. Thanks again!
