Diego de Almagro Centro

The location is central, and the service was excellent. The rooms are shared but private. Breakfast was basic, with a good range, and just right. The only issue was that the hot water was too hot.

Right on the pedestrian street Arturo Prat, the hotel is central, but I didn’t feel the neighborhood was very safe at night. The facilities are old and small, and the place isn’t very comfortable. It meets only the bare minimum.

Service was good, but there’s no restaurant. Going out for food after 8:00 pm is difficult because most places have already closed.

I definitely wouldn’t return. The mattress felt like a rock, the Wi-Fi was awful, and the breakfast was extremely basic, without even a continental breakfast. Service at breakfast was rude. There are no mini-fridges in the rooms, and smoke from people cooking outside gets into the rooms on that side. They also play very loud music, which makes it hard to sleep. The hotel has no restaurant, so arriving late without having eaten means staying inside, given the crime and lack of security in the area. The area is overrun with foreigners, and security is seriously lacking. I hate to say it, but I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s clearly below the standard of the rest of the Diego de Almagro hotel chain.
