We paid close to 120 US dollars a night, which didn't feel like good value for Chile. It's a B&B with just four bedrooms and breakfast access to the living room, not a hotel. Our room was pretty basic and looked a bit tired. The location and terrace were quite good, though. Bahia Inglesa was only a one night stop on our way to Atacama, which suited us since there isn't much to do there. I wouldn't recommend it.

The mattress sagged enough that I woke up sore, so it could use replacing. There was also no soap by the sink. Still, the room was spotless and had what I needed for a restful stay: coffee maker, coffee, tea, bottled water, mini-fridge, hairdryer, and mosquito repellent. Cleaning was every other day. Alejandra was easy to reach even before I arrived and gave me directions since I didn't want to drive. Breakfast is chosen from a menu. The portions aren't huge, but they're fine, and it's left in the room, with the option to eat on the terrace. You're close to nearby restaurants, cafes, and beaches. The place feels welcoming and peaceful, and the area seemed very safe. I went for a late walk and had no problems. It would have been nice if the person helping Alejandra had replied to WhatsApp messages. Even though they took care of requests, the lack of replies made me feel overlooked.

I was so glad I chose this boutique hotel, even though the only room available didn't have the private balcony I really wanted. Everything else made the stay such a positive one, and the service and attention were 10/10. Next time I'll book earlier and try for the room with a private balcony. 😄 Thanks so much, Evelin and Alejandra. Highly recommended!!
