The rooms were clean, the staff member who checked us in was nice, and the harbor is within walking distance. But our room had no windows or visible ventilation, and just three outlets. We only slept there for a couple of hours, and I never even opened my bag. At checkout, a woman used her phone to tell us we owed money for the lattes we’d chosen instead of the instant coffee. Then she changed her mind and said we didn’t need to pay for them, but did need to “clean” the room. We left and messaged through the Booking app in case there’d been a misunderstanding, but got no reply. They speak no English, so be aware. Breakfast was basic but nice.

We slept really well here. It was dark and quiet at night, the bed was comfortable, and there was hot water. The place is peaceful, and having parking meant our car was safe. The hosts were excellent. Definitely a good spot to relax.

The rooms are close together, though that wasn’t an issue on our quiet off-season weekend. The hostel itself is lovely, with modern, new facilities and a great spot in the city. Breakfast was a very good continental spread, and the woman serving it was so friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend it and would definitely come back.

Mrs. Sol and the rest of the staff were wonderful. The accommodation was comfortable, spotless, and clearly well looked after. Breakfast was good too.
