We had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper, and chase someone down for even the basics. The rooms are hard to access, the power was out for a whole day, and the water was shut off another day. Nobody checked on us or offered any compensation. It felt completely neglected, and it was extremely overpriced. A really bad experience. They don’t seem to care about anything.
The garden is beautiful, and the apartment is right beside Loreto, the warmest beach in Caldera. It was very comfortable, everything was clean, and the owner was super friendly and kind. Thanks so much for everything. I’ll be back very soon...😊
A simple, lovely place that’s quiet and comfortable, with bathrooms that are always spotless. The domes get really hot, though there are fans, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach them. Not sure what it’s like in summer.
The dome hadn’t been properly sanitized, and there were hairs on the pillow. When we looked at the bathrooms, we found mold and dirt. The staff were unhelpful, nobody was wearing masks, and there didn’t seem to be any COVID protocols. We arrived half an hour before check-in and had to insist that they store our luggage. Terrible service from the moment we arrived. I booked through Airbnb. Wouldn’t recommend it.
We stayed in the domes, and the only real downside was the noisy pigeons in the nearby trees, which isn’t the owners’ fault. It’s one block from Loreto beach and near the bus stop. The hostel is very nice, and the woman who helped us was really friendly. Highly recommend!
