The service was terrible. I told them work meant I couldn’t travel, and they wouldn’t refund a single penny, which isn’t legal. I also asked about laundry and found there was an extra charge for everything. Thank goodness I couldn’t go. At least they could put the money toward giving the place a proper cleaning.

Please don’t go. The room was disgusting, with a terrible smell, dust, and dirt. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and had no toilet paper, and the hot water kept turning cold. There were electrical issues too, with just one outlet that only charged intermittently. The owner wasn’t friendly, and she locked the door before 11 pm.

Staying here was the worst choice I made on my trip to Castro. The smell was bad, the beds were in poor condition, and the bedding was awful. We were cold because air came through a window that didn’t seal properly. The room doors were also in bad shape. Worst of all, I heard Mrs. Eugenia speaking rudely to other guests and gossiping about it.

We paid 60,000 pesos for a room with one double bed and one single bed, for three of us. Castro was full, so we had no other choice, and arriving at the last minute, the room saved us. It wasn’t very clean, and there was trash on the nightstand. The bathroom had no soap or toilet paper, and checkout at 10:00 AM felt very early. After traveling four hours from Puerto Montt, we wanted to stretch our legs with an evening walk, but the woman said we had to be back before midnight because she was closing and wouldn’t open the door again. It was a terrible stay. I’d never return unless it was the only room left in all of Castro.
