The hosts are incredibly open and welcoming. From the first moment, it felt like staying with friends, and as a European, I felt right at home. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at, not just in Chile. I’d give it six stars if I could. The beds are like the ones in Europe, and the bathrooms are very clean, though small. Breakfast comes with freshly ground coffee, homemade bread, and fresh homemade cakes. Sitting on the terrace is so relaxing: you can watch birds on the bay, then see the moon rise on the other side at night with a glass of wine. Best place to stay in Chiloé. Thanks!

It was a really bad experience. There was blood on the pillow, which was disgusting. We changed rooms, but the new one had no heater, so it was cold all night in winter. The host told us, “If you don’t want to stay, just find another place.” They also charged us a higher price for the other room. This was my first truly awful stay. If Google allowed negative scores, I’d give one without hesitation!

Marcela and Nico are lovely hosts, and the hotel is clean and beautifully designed. We had a comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. We stayed three nights while exploring Chiloe and loved it.

At 7 pm, after we raised concerns, the hostess told us to find somewhere else to stay. She was rude and unwilling to hear criticism or work out a solution. The rooms were basic, with a sink right beside the bed, and the breakfast shown in the photo was supposedly for two. It felt like none of it matched what we paid.
