Cabañas Parque Michimahuida

We booked through air bnb, paid, and only then got sent extra rules that hadn't been listed beforehand. They included leaving shoes outside, no shower head, and taking all our trash with us. The kitchen vent couldn't reach an outlet, so it didn't work. After checkout the host complained that we'd left a fish-cooking smell, even though we never cooked or had fish there. A working vent could have prevented any cooking smell anyway. The host made the stay a hassle.

The cabin was lovely and everything was clean, and breakfast was really good, especially the fresh cake. The place itself is beautiful, but there's no phone signal and it wasn't clear where to find it. The owners might want to add Wi-Fi and put a sign at the road entrance.

Tambo the dog kept us entertained with games of fetch, and we enjoyed walking along the river. Nano, the owner, and Janet were so warm and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was good too. We only stayed one night, and the one thing to know is there's no Wi-Fi.

The cabana was pleasant and the included breakfast was very nice, but our two-night stay was uncomfortable. The man who greeted us, whether the owner or caretaker, tried to charge more than the advertised price on the website we booked through. Then he got overly friendly and made a pass at me. The roof also leaked during several very rainy days. There's no Wi-Fi or reception, and with how isolated it is, I wouldn't recommend staying here alone as a woman.
