Hotel Marina de Vichuquén

A nice place for good food, with great service.

The menu is so limited, with hardly any variety. The prices were $14,000 per person for the fish, $4,000 for the sides, and $5,000 each for the natural juices. The pineapple juice was awful and had no flavor, the fries were burnt, the fish bland, and the mayonnaise they served us was expired. We waited forever for the food, despite there being no more than 15 people in the whole place. I asked for a glass of water when we arrived because I was hot, but it never came. They offer nothing when you arrive compared with other restaurants. I also left a review on Instagram and still haven't gotten a response, so they don't seem interested in improving. It's a terrible restaurant, the worst I've ever been to. I could say more, but what's the point?

The restrooms had no water and were in a terrible state, and our food arrived cold with no utensils after a two-hour wait. The restaurant wasn't even close to full, but the service was still slow and poor. Prices were high, and the menu lacked variety. They claimed they were checking everyone's temperature and permits, but nobody checked us when we arrived. The person who seemed to be in charge didn't appear to care, even with several other unhappy customers around. It was a horrible experience and felt like a waste of money. I hope I never have to go back.

The food was spectacular, and although the menu isn't extensive, everything we had was excellent. We also loved watching the wide variety of birds on the lake right from our rooms. The rooms and hotel were very comfortable, with a boat-like feel, and there’s a dock that can accommodate several boats. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel we'd chosen well.
