We were glad we booked six nights after seeing other people recommend a longer stay. Having that time meant we could fit in different activities and still take it easy. The excursions were the best we've ever done, and we hardly came across other tourists. The hotel can arrange many trips with a guide or without one, and some would be almost impossible to set up on your own. Cuarto Lagos was one of my favorite hikes and vacation days ever, with scenery that felt truly special. Everything else was wonderful too: the beautiful setting, accommodation, food, staff, activities, and wood-fired hot tubs. Thank you for such a great time.

The staff made the stay feel personal and almost like being with family. The food was delicious, and the whole atmosphere was lovely. The view from both our room and the main house was incredible. This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at, and I hope to come back someday.

The people really made our three nights at Tawa Refugio special. Everyone was warm, kind, and attentive, and made us feel at home. We loved the delicious meals, and the hikes and other outdoor activities gave us gorgeous scenery and a real connection to the land. Set deep in nature, the place has breathtaking views and a peaceful, grounding feel. It’s a wonderful base for discovering the deeper Puelo area and experiencing Patagonia. More than just somewhere to stay, it’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel inspired. I can't wait to return.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Tawa Refugio, and the incredible location made our time in Chile even more memorable. The restaurant food was great and the service was wonderful. Staff also helped arrange a boat to and from Parque Tagua Tagua for our day hike.
