Don’t stay here. We spent two months in the apartment while working on a project for a university in Concepción, and the facilities themselves were fine. But the owner tried to charge us for several things. The shower head fell when we were putting it on one day, and we were billed a ridiculous amount for it. At checkout, the owner kept our deposit, claiming the bed sheets were dirty, even though we’d only used the beds normally. The owner was never at the apartment, so we couldn’t speak to him face to face. He handled all communication through a Venezuelan woman who worked in the household there. I feel the landlord used his position to make us pay.

You’re just steps from the University of Concepción and the city center, with lots of restaurants nearby. The apartments are comfortable and fairly priced if you’re only passing through. There’s a pool, gym, laundry, and parking. Ask about the different accommodation types at Apart Hotel Plaza Suite.

I’d booked for work a month in advance, but while I was traveling from Santiago to the city, they told me the place was no longer available. They wouldn’t take responsibility for the mistake.

I stayed a few years ago and liked it. The view was incredible, and the place was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly, the neighborhood felt safe, and it’s close to everything.
