The staff apart from the owner were very friendly, but the booking situation was a mess. I had reserved two weeks ahead, only to find the room had already been taken when I arrived. The owner's suggestion was a room that wasn't available and had no hot water. Since Concepción was completely booked for the REC event, we had to take it. When we discussed the price, she reduced it by just $5,000, saying she was doing us “a favor” 🤔. The owner came across as very unprofessional.

Rooms were clean and the prices were affordable. Just know the bread they serve comes with pork, not egg.

I accepted a smaller room after learning the one I had reserved had been rented out by someone on the morning shift. I would have preferred the other room, and they said they'd ask the other guest whether a switch was possible. I showered and settled into the smaller one, then was told they would contact Hotel Caupolicán, which they also own, and call me with an answer. Francisca checked me in, but I'm still waiting to hear from her. The service was awful, and the parking lot was both small and filthy. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

A month before my stay, I booked the hotel and called about twice to check the reservation and rate. I even spoke directly with the owner to make sure everything was set. When we arrived, they said there was no reservation and apparently denied ever speaking with us. The service was terrible, from the way she treated us to the unresponsive handling and lack of any real solution. The organization was awful. This is what you get when people work in tourism without understanding how the tourism business works.
