I found it calm even on the day the earthquakes hit, and the building felt sturdy. The showers had strong pressure, and the sunny patios and dining room were kept neat and bright. Staff always looked tidy, too. It’s a good fit if you like a lively commercial area. The subway is three blocks away, the central station just a few meters, and buses, Uber, and currency exchange offices are all close. Service was friendly, and everything stayed clean. I’d stay there again when I’m back in Santiago.

Breakfast was very incomplete. Also, the price they gave us on arrival didn’t match what I’d booked through Booking.com, and they tried to use a worse-than-usual exchange rate.

The staff really made a good impression, always cheerful, friendly, and willing to help. The rooms and bathrooms felt cramped, though the beds were comfortable. The TV was tiny and the cable barely had any channels. There are lots of street vendors nearby. The location itself is okay, and the meals, breakfast through dinner, were acceptable for what they cost.
