Hotel Mol

Even though we only needed a room overnight in an emergency, they didn't check us in at reception. We paid $28,000 for a room with two beds, a TV, and a private bathroom. At that price I wasn't expecting much, but basic decent service should have been possible. The room was dirty, the beds were badly made, and there was no heat. They did give us extra blankets for the cold nights. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The only bright spot was the filling breakfast and the very friendly woman serving it. Otherwise it was horrible. The walls were stained and looked dirty, and the bathroom had mold and a musty smell. There was no heating, so I was freezing, and the shower never got hot.

Some rooms had no hot water, and in the others it was only lukewarm to cold. Staff just stood there saying it didn't matter because the weather was warm. The bathrooms were in terrible shape, and there were bugs. The rooms smelled awful, full of mold and cat urine. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. You get what you pay for, and spending 5,000 pesos more for somewhere more hygienic would be better.

The room was dirty, but the staff were very attentive and concerned about our well-being. It could be useful in a real emergency.
