For a business trip, Hotel Umawe worked really well for me. It's about five minutes from the airport, and the area is quiet, so it was easy to rest after a long day. The rooms are on the small side, but comfortable and modern for a short stay. There's a good restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I planned to stay one day and wound up there for a week, lol. It's a fairly new hotel in Concepcion, very quiet, and the rooms were spotless. Staff were polite and helpful; the young woman at the evening front desk spoke pretty decent English. The restaurant costs a bit more, but the food was really good, and there's a bar too. The location is a little out of the way if you don't have a car.

We only stayed one night, in the Fall, so didn't get to try the nice pool. The hotel was beautiful, the WiFi worked very well, and breakfast was good. Highly recommended!
