Cabañas Rucalil

The park is lovely and well cared for, with free hammocks and a bouncy house for kids. The pool is huge, clean, and shallow enough for children to play in. In the sun, the water feels pleasantly warm. Our Rauli cabin was comfortable, clean, and stayed cool on very hot days. It also had a heater and great duvets for when nights got cold. The setting has beautiful views, and the location is easy to reach from the Pucón-Villarica road, about a five-minute drive from the center. Marixa was a wonderful host, welcoming and helpful with suggestions about where to go. The cabin is just a few meters from a pedestrian path to the beach, and the Los Riscos and La Candelaria paths are around 1 km away.

The Coigue cabin was freezing, despite being advertised as cozy, and the bathroom had a sliding door. There was also a really bad smell. We booked because it was supposed to have a lake view, but what we got was a courtyard view with the roof of the next building in sight. It wasn’t worth the price, and the advertised view felt misleading. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

The setting has a spectacular view and a lovely atmosphere for families, and the cabins are clean, cozy, and very well equipped. One thing to consider is the price of extras like the hot tubs and sauna. They’re expensive, so it would be better if those services were included in the rental.

The cabins are inside a gated community, which made the stay quiet and feel very safe. They’re equipped with everything you need, and the value for money is very good. A great base for visiting the Pucon and Villarica region. I’d definitely come back.
