The mountain setting is superb, and the restaurant was excellent without being ridiculously expensive. They made the best pisco sours. There are indoor and outdoor thermal pools, though I found the outdoor one too cold in April.

We drove almost an hour to get there, but the information about closing time was confusing. A flyer at the municipal office said 8pm, and when I called to check, I was told the baths stayed open until 7pm. We arrived at 4:45 and reception said they were closing at 5pm, so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the thermal baths. I was really disappointed. At least there were a few other places about a 10 minute drive away.
The forest setting is wonderfully quiet. The restaurant menu looked fantastic, and the French chef sounded great. Such a pity we couldn't make it back for lunch or dinner.
The staff were very good, and I had a great stay at the hotel.
I can’t wait for them to open again.
