I’m sorry, but I can’t think of anything positive to say. The food made me sick on the first day, so I had to go out for meals, and there was a terrible smell in the hallways. Only one elevator served the rooms. The hotel sits on a hill, with the lobby at the top and the rooms nine floors below. The emergency exits were locked or blocked, and guests were expected to go upstairs to the ninth floor during an evacuation. Our large group had furniture removed from the suites to make room, but it was left piled in the hallways, blocking windows and glass doors and making everything feel chaotic. The facilities look old-fashioned and run-down. There are a lot of things this hotel needs to improve. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience.

I've been a member since 1997, and this remains my favourite resort by the Pacific Ocean. There may be larger, more expensive places, but I like the service and facilities here. It's a lovely place to properly rest, with group activities, games, bingo, different pools, snooker tables, film screenings, a hairdresser, massages, and daily maid service that cleans the flat from top to bottom. Wonderful.

We loved the buffet food, though they struggled to offer a vegetarian alternative when we asked. They did try to make it up to us afterwards. The ocean view is wonderful, and the staff were helpful, including when we had a small emergency with a bruised arm. It's a nice place to stay.

The spa is great, and the pool is awesome, though there aren't enough chairs. The rooms are nice and the activities are okay. Parking is limited, and the Wi-Fi is horrible, dropping out every 10 minutes or so.

The Wi-Fi was spotty, and there was confusion over our checkout date. We asked to leave on Monday, but they had us down for Sunday. After we complained, we had to wait until Sunday for the change, and then they couldn't fix it that day. I had to get out of bed at 9 am to sort it out. Check-in itself was okay. We were first given a pool view instead of the ocean view we were quoted, but they changed the room after we complained.
