The Veat

The staff were extremely kind, personable and attentive, and the shared spaces were lovely, with books, coffee, wine and tea. Breakfast was in a nice little nook. My room had an impressive large jet tub, and I loved being able to open the windows for crisp air. The daily room refresh was a nice touch for a smaller hotel. This adorable eco hotel is well located in Puerta Natales. The rooms are nicely decorated, and from the third floor I could even see mountains from Torres del Paine.

A great place to meet other travelers, since everyone was friendly. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping would make the bed every day if you wanted. Staff were helpful, made great coffee, and would cook eggs at breakfast if you asked. It’s easy to walk to the water or downtown. The showers are small and the rooms don’t have much space, so consider that if you’re big or traveling with lots of bags. I’d stay here again.

We stayed two separate nights while hiking in Torres Del Paine and would recommend the hotel. The restaurant was very good, and the staff helped us get a taxi to the bus station. They also made sure we had breakfast even though we were leaving before it officially started. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the shower was cramped and dated.

We really enjoyed our week here. It’s family run, and everyone was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to arrange morning breakfast for the days we had early tours. Having a vegan restaurant in the hotel was a bonus, and the dishes were amazing. It’s centrally located near all the main restaurants. I highly recommend it to all travellers.
