The breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff were really nice. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the updated building has a modern feel. The front desk staff were helpful, but I’m still irritated that they wouldn’t return the tax I’d paid after I lost my PDI card. I got a duplicate the next day, but they refused to refund it and didn’t even try to help. It wasn’t a small amount, and I felt no empathy from them. The rooms also get very hot, and the walls are so thin I could hear the person next door snoring and someone below coughing or sniffling. Acceptable for a 3 star hotel in the area.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Katalina was especially kind and helped me arrange a horseback riding tour that became one of the highlights of my trip. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it! 🌟

We really wanted a convenient location and helpful people, and this hotel delivered on both. The staff helped with whatever we needed, and breakfast was great too.

The location is good, and the place is clean and feels safe. Breakfast was decent too. But there’s barely anywhere to put your things: no closet, drawers, or desk for luggage, just a little hanger and a tiny shelf for keys or sunglasses. The bathroom has no storage either, and our shower drained so badly that water flooded the floor because the tiles sloped the wrong way. There’s only one window and really no ventilation. The walls are paper thin as other people have mentioned. Basically, you get a bed and not much else.

Finding another hotel at a reduced price was helpful, but the whole situation at Hotel Big Sur in Puerto Natales was still frustrating and a waste of time. We had a confirmed two-night booking, then shortly after arriving they told us they could host us for just one night. They waited until we’d shown our passports, filled out the breakfast forms, and paid to tell us. Now sorting out the refund is a hassle.
