Hotel Milodón was a lucky find for my solo stay in Puerto Natales. I felt relaxed and safe there, and the owner and staff were friendly and helpful. It’s right in the middle of shops and restaurants, with the waterfront just a short walk away. My room was spacious, bright, comfortable and clean, with adjustable heating that kept me warm on a couple of cold Patagonia nights. They cleaned it and made the bed every day. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with what I needed to start the day; when early tours meant I couldn’t eat there, they prepared takeaway snack packs for me. For the price, I couldn’t ask for more. It must be one of the most reasonably priced places in Pto. Natales. I’d recommend Hotel Milodón to any traveler.

I was traveling alone and woke up to two men opening my door at night. They ran off and left it open when they saw me, and I think they may have just been looking for a free place to stay, but it was a real shock. I had locked the door, though the locks are flimsy and seem easy to pick. When I told the hotel staff, they didn’t seem to care. Save yourself that scare.

The rooms were very clean, and the location is central. Breakfast was very good, with takeaway options in the morning. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again next time.

The rooms are dated, though clean, and the location is prime. We left some of our bags at the hotel for five days while we did the W trek. The staff were great, helpful and attentive.

We were just passing through and stayed for one night. The rooms were decent, and the service was excellent.
