Hotel Costanera

We’d definitely stay here again. The king-sized bed was a big plus, and the shower was lovely with easy-to-adjust temperature. The hotel feels quite new, so everything was in great condition. Staff were very helpful, even serving breakfast early for our tour pickups. Restaurants are within a reasonable distance, and the plugs were easy to reach.

From the rooms, there’s a great harbor view, and it’s an easy, pleasant walk along the water to shops and places to eat. The hotel is only a few blocks from the main town, which makes getting around and parking simple. It’s clean, new, well maintained, and has plenty of parking. Breakfast was great, and the friendly staff were helpful.

I liked being a little outside the busy part of town, even though shops and restaurants are about a 15-minute walk away. Much of the route follows the water, but it may be less convenient for older travelers or families with small children unless they use taxis. The waterfront setting means every room looks out over the bay, and I enjoyed the sunsets. You can open a window panel to let in the cool sea air. There’s no air conditioning, just a radiator heater, but opening the window kept me comfortable when it got warm. The price seemed reasonable for such a nice place. The room was spotless and comfortable, the internet worked well, and the hotel and rooms were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed several nights in late December 2025 and highly recommend it.

I can't see why this place is rated two stars. Over our 3.5 weeks in Chile/Argentina, it was the best hotel we stayed in. The staff went out of their way to help, and the rooms were incredibly clean, with comfy beds and crisp sheets. Breakfast was nice, with lots of fruit and eggs made to order. Nothing to fault. Thanks!
