The hosts were genuinely hospitable, sincere, and interesting, and the place had a lovely home-like feel. I even got a room for two days without booking ahead. For the location and quality, it wasn't expensive. There's gated yard parking that gets closed at night, and the neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet, with expensive properties around and a pleasant element. Drinking water, tea, a kitchen, and a fridge were available, along with reliable hot water. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance, and driving to nearby places is quick and easy.

The bathroom smelled like urine, and the rooms aren't cleaned. You can hear people in other rooms breathing and the owners talking, but they still told me not to play music while showering. There aren't any shops nearby. At 44,000 pesos, I think there are better choices around. It felt like renting a room in a downtown tenement.

The location was the one good thing. The beds were awful, the bedding stained, and the bathroom dirty and moldy. There was barely any hot water before it cut off, and the place smelled terrible. It's unhygienic, and the price is high for what they provide.

The photos make it look better than it is. Breakfast isn't a buffet and is the kitchen even clean? There's no room cleaning at all during the stay. I also couldn't tell whether the sheets had been changed.
