We booked directly, and things were fine until I paid. After that, they stopped replying. I called a few hours later to make sure everything was okay, and Guillermo called me dramatic and got defensive. He said he’d send the payment confirmation and cabin details that day, but nothing came. Nearly a week passed, so my partner called. Guillermo was bossy and arrogant again, insisting the information would be sent that day. It never was. We asked for a refund because of the poor service and lack of cooperation. They gave us a date for the refund, but it didn’t arrive then either, so I had to chase Guillermo for an answer. Such an unnecessary hassle. Never again.

Guillermo was attentive and available whenever we needed something, which we appreciated. The cabins are nice and have nearly everything for a comfortable stay, though we wished there’d been a microwave. The pool is included, and you can also pay extra for a hot tub. There were a few maintenance problems: some windows didn’t shut all the way, and with so many mosquitoes around, that was a concern. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work while we were there.

The owners are kind and ready to help if anything comes up. It’s a peaceful spot near the city, with easy access, lovely cabins, a natural setting, and trails to wander along. Spectacular place.

I wouldn’t recommend booking here. The whole process left us distrustful, and it felt like a scam. We reserved but never got clear confirmation of payment. Getting in touch with Guillermo, the manager or owner, was hard and unpleasant. He kept saying he had no signal, but that doesn’t explain taking six days to confirm a reservation. When we called to ask about it, he called us “crazy people.” We eventually requested a refund, which was issued, though without any courtesy. I expect he may say I’m trying to discredit a service I didn’t use, but the problems, poor management, and distrust were exactly why we didn’t use it. Check the TripAdvisor reviews and photos before booking. I didn’t check in time, and it cost me a week of needless stress.
