Cafe & Hostal Acurruka

The room was simple and cute, and the hosts were really kind. Great place, a very generous breakfast, and amazing value for money.

We found the breakfast a bit meager, just a couple slices of ham and cheese with small rolls. Still, the food was good, and while the menu isn’t extensive, there was enough to choose from and it was satisfying. We enjoyed the coffee too. We stayed at Café y Hostal Acurruka twice, in February on our way to Argentina and again in March on the return, so we got a good sense of the place. The first time, there was a problem with the room we’d booked, and they offered us a cabin instead. That worked out really well: it was spacious and comfortable, even suitable for a big family. On our second visit we stayed in the hostel. The room was lovely, the bathroom clean and nice, and having Netflix on the TV was much appreciated after a day of traveling. It’s a cozy place to rest while passing through the area.

It’s a few blocks farther from the city center, which worked well for exploring on foot. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable with high-quality linens. The whole place, including the rooms and bathrooms, was spotless, 1000/10. We’d definitely return.

Lunch was delicious, and the room service was very attentive. There’s secure parking behind a remote-controlled gate. Excellent service, highly recommend it.
