We came on an off-season day trip to swim in the gigantic pool and have lunch at the restaurant. Our group was the only one there, so we had the whole place to ourselves, though it can get very busy, so plan accordingly. The food was delicious, there was a decent beer selection, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The indoor pool and thermal spa were extraordinary, and the view was very beautiful. The staff were lovely, but the rooms were just OK. It felt rather boring otherwise. This is probably a place to visit in winter; we went in summer and it was very quiet.

We rented a bungalow for five adults and three children. It was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and had lovely views of the nearby mountains and Lonquimay volcano. The hot springs were nice, though starting to look a bit dated. With restaurants, waterfalls and the ski resort nearby, it's a wonderful place to stay.
