The neighbor's angle grinder was going when we arrived, and the noise continued to be a problem in this residential area. The cabin was around the corner from reception, in a semi-detached house split into two cabins. We had booked for two days expecting breakfast because the ad said it was included, but breakfast wasn't provided. The room smelled strongly of damp, had flies, and I found hairs on the sheets. We had no intention of staying and asked for a refund. They agreed to return 30% for one day and all of the other day, but when it came time to transfer the money, Norma changed her mind about the 30% and refunded only one day. For 15,000 pesos more, we found a hotel with a pool, daily cleaning, breakfast, and no annoying noise. There are MANY better options nearby. I don't recommend this place.

The private apartment we were moved to after refusing the room we were first shown did live up to the hype, but the booking had been for a single apartment. That first room had a bathroom, though its door wouldn't lock. The apartment needed maintenance: the bathroom had only an extractor fan, which did work, and there was a slight musty smell when we entered because it was on the first floor facing south. The refrigerator and freezer were full of ice, including a compact block of about 4 kilos in the defrost tray. The next morning the electric toaster shorted when we put bread in it. It took about 30 minutes to get help because the intercom was broken and we had to call. They eventually came to switch on the automatic switch outside the apartment, which no one without a key could reach. It met maintenance requirements, but I thought it was expensive for what it was.
